The court ordered that Blas Peralta remain in jail for the murder of former rector of the UASD state university, Mateo Aquino Febrillet. The decision was taken by the judges of the Penal Hall of the Supreme Court of Justice.<\/p>\n<p>The court also confirmed that Peralta pay RD$7 million to each of the three offspring of Aquino \u2013 David, Jonathan and Jessica Aquino, and another RD$10 million to Rita Solis, the wife of the murder victim.<\/p>\n<p>The ruling was not unanimous.
