The 39-year-old third baseman announced his decision in a statement released by the Rangers, saying it is time for the &#8220;next chapter of my life.&#8221; Beltre debuted with the Los Angeles Dodgers until 2004 when he joined the Seattle Mariners (2005-2009), and then he played with the Boston Red Sox in 2010. He later played with the Texas Rangers until retiring.
