The budget was approved for RD$921.8 billion, of which RD$643.9 billion will go to current expenditures and RD$121.5 billion for capital expenditures. It now moves to the Chamber of Deputies for consideration. The budget estimates GDP growth of 5%, inflation of 4% and average exchange rate of RD$52.18 to the US$ for 2019.
