Diario Libre reports that Espineira reacted in those terms when asked about his opinion about complaints by Executive Branch Anti-Narcotics Advisor Marino Vinicio Castillo (Vincho) who claims that some telephone service providers refuse to tap private telephones even though the request is backed by a court order. For his part, District Attorney Juan Manuel Hernandez Peguero mentioned the need for investigation procedures to take place in the shortest term possible. Hernandez said that Castillo&#8217;s complaint is valid because officials must try to provide solutions and avoid having criminals mock the law by the use of telephone lines and other systems.<\/p>\n<p> Listin Diario reports that Verizon Dominicana has asked Castillo to identify the telephone service providers that refuse to comply with court orders to tap telephone lines, whereas Tricom said it does not consider itself included in Castillo&#8217;s complaint because they have always abided by the law.<\/p>\n<p> Verizon and Tricom are the only two landline telephone service providers in the country.
