On Thursday, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce had addressed the leaders of the transportation organization, but according to Ricardo de <g class=\"gr_ gr_6 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"6\" data-gr-id=\"6\">los<\/g> Santos, the president of the National Federation of Dominican Transportation (Fenatrado), the government did not satisfy the demands made by the syndicate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De los Santos told reporters from most of the nation\u2019s newspapers, including the Diario Libre, that his men and women could not continue working under the current pricing system. He claimed a 100% success rate for the work stoppage. He said that he hoped the government is honest enough to reveal the true cost of the strike. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday, 14 March, the MICM had met with the Fenatrado leaders and insisted that the methodology for calculating the fuel prices be totally transparent and public. Officials from the ministry explained the process to the union leaders.
