A voyage this year is scheduled for 24 November 2019, with the ship departing from Las Palmas\/Gran Canaria in Spain and arriving <g class=\"gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace\" id=\"9\" data-gr-id=\"9\">to<\/g> Santo Domingo on 20 December 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a shorter version of the same trip that can be booked departing instead from Praia Harbor in the southern part of the island of Santiago, Cape Verde Islands, on 3 December 2019, with arrival in Santo Domingo on the same 20 December 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investigative TV journalist Nuria Piera recently shared with her local audience a video of the tall ship made by Alec Corday that tells the ship\u2019s story. The video highlights how the luxury yacht made US history when it became the first US Navy ship to enforce race integration on board.
