This is about a third of the RD$528.4 billion in government bond placement in the local market. The AFPs are the biggest holders of government debt in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the latest report from the Public Credit Agency (Direcci\u00f3n de Cr\u00e9dito P\u00fablico), the AFPs their placement in government bonds increased by 17.8% in 2018.
