Chinchilla was president of Costa Rica from\n2010 to 2014. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Presidency reported\nChinchilla praised the economic growth of the past seven years. &#8220;I see\nthis economic growth with envy, with a lot of envy, because the Dominican\nRepublic, along with Panama, has been practically flying and that is the best\nnews for any country, because when an economy grows it generates jobs and that\nhas repercussions for the people,&#8221; she said at the end of the meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dominican economy grew\n7.2% in November 2018 and closed the year at 7.0%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The former president of\nCosta Rica says she has always had an excellent relationship with President\nDanilo Medina.
