He said that &#8220;medical reviews&#8221; were created to publish the articles, and space in the publication is sold to physicians for RD$15,000 to RD$20,000 each so that these can comply with the requirement of being published. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rodr\u00edguez Monegro added when being interviewed for &#8220;La Receta M\u00e9dica&#8221; Z101 radio talk show that people in the same Dominican Medical Guild (CMD) were accomplices in the fraudulent practice. He said when he was the coordinator of the National Council of Medical Residences, the practice was annulled when the worth of the research papers was reduced to one point.
