The new resort falls under the Autograph Collection of Marriott.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur new all-inclusive resort platform is a natural progression for Marriott International,\u201d said Tony Capuano, Marriott\u2019s executive vice president and global chief development officer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As reported in a press release on 5 August 2019, Marriott had not seriously competed in that market segment until now. Marriott International, Inc. launches the all-inclusive platform to serve this increasingly popular vacation segment. The lodging, food and other services for a single price model has been a vital element of the Punta Cana destination success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marriott wants in. The company says it is responding to consumers\u2019 growing desire around the world for premium, worry-free vacations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the Punta Cana all-inclusive, Marriott International is working with DIT Hotels, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. \u201cWe are thrilled to be developing an all-inclusive Autograph Collection resort in the Dominican Republic in collaboration with Marriott International,\u201d said Mihail Popov, CEO of DIT Hotels. \u201cWorking with Marriott International means we have access to its brand, design and business expertise as we develop our resort in Punta Cana,&#8221; said Popov.
