Camilo said that by law the party can reserve the announcement of the presidential candidacy, as it did. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She explained the deadline for presenting alliances and coalitions is 18 November 2019. She said the Political Parties Law 33-18 establishes as 3 December 2019 the deadline for registering reserved candidates for the municipal level and 18 February 2020 for the congressional and presidential level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PRD has been a strong ally to the government of President Danilo Medina. PRD president is the Minister of Foreign Relations Miguel Vargas Maldonado.
