The Muestra de Cine Medioambiental de la Re\u00fablica Dominicana (DREFF) will present 12 international and national productions. The event also includes debates and panels on environmental topics. These are scheduled to take place in Santo Domingo, Santiago and Punta Cana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The director of the event, Natasha Despotovic explained that the platform is to offer Dominicans a platform of knowledge and debate on the environmental and sustainable development, as well as challenges and the best practices to resolve these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 12 productions are from six countries. These are Colombia, Argentina, Belgium, United States, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The films will be shown in association with universities, school libraries, cultural and research centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The films are:<br>\nAlbatross (Chris Jordan)<br>\nCac\u00fa (Marvin del Cid)<br>\nChasing Coral (Jeff Orlowski)<br>\nGhost Fleet (Shannon Service)<br>\nPandas (Drew Fellman and David Douglas)<br>\nThe Earth on My Hands (Nicolas Conte)<br>\nEl Buzo (Esteban Arrangoiz)<br>\nEl Libro de Lila (Marcela Rinc\u00f3n Gonz\u00e1lez)<br>\nSea of Shadows (Richard Ladkani)<br>\nInvisible Frontier (Nicolas Richat and Nico Muzi)<br>\nChasing the Snot of the Whales of Samana (Marvin del Cid)<br>\nWorse Than Poop (Vanessa Warheit)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See the schedule for the films at:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dreff.org\/dreff2019\/en\/\">DREFF<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7 November 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The DREFF film festival is scheduled for Tuesday, 12 November through Saturday, 15 November 2019.
