The forum including some of the leading lights in the Dominican environmental community: Radhames Martines from the National Young Entrepreneurs Association (ANJE); Jake Kheel from Punta Cana Foundation and Eco-Red and David Alvarez the academic vice-rector of the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM-STA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, panelists called for the creation of a \u201ccircular\u201d economy that will be sustainable and reduce the environmental impact and provide a better quality of life for the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rodrigo Sotomayor, the vice president for the Unilever Caribbean region, told the audience that Unilever is trying to reduce the environmental footprint of its products.
