Vice President Margarita Cede\u00f1o was present together with Presidency Minister Gustavo Montalvo, Education Minister Antonio Pe\u00f1a Mirabal, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Infotep director, Rafael Ovalles said it had been a challenging but fruitful journey. \u201cIn the five years that we have been at the head of the institution, we have seen how the productive sectors increasingly recognize the importance of professional technical training,\u201d he said. Infotep centers around the country offer around 1,050 short and long programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The keynote speech was by Celso Juan Marranizni, president of the Dominican Republic Association of Industries (AIRD).
