As reported, the DR will receive funds to revise laws to allow women-led businesses greater opportunities. The project will be undertaken with the US Department of Commerce, USAID and the US Embassy in the Dominican Republic. The announcement was made following the celebration of the Women\u2019s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative roundtable at the White House in Washington, D.C., USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>US Agency for International Development administrator Mark Green and presidential adviser Ivanka Trump on Monday, 18 November 2019 launched the US$10 million in new partnerships and activities for the Women\u2019s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative.
