The Propagas Foundation funded the construction at the central Santiago park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The butterfly area is called &#8220;Mariposario Greta&#8221; in honor of the Glasswinged Butterfly (Greta diaphanus). The focus of the butterfly area is on educating for conservation of the Dominican environment and biodiversity.
