The school director, Catholic priest Miguel Bienvenido Florenz\u00e1n Ulloa, is accused of sexual abuse. Graduate Victor Rafael Man\u00f3n Arias had reported sexual abuse by the Catholic priest when he attended the school and when on a school trip to Argentina, but did not find any support in the psychology department or others at the school. He would decide to press his case after moving to the United States, where he was encouraged to take his case public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lawyer Carlos Salcedo is part of the board of lawyers carrying the case for Ma\u00f1\u00f3n. They are demanding RD$50 million and 20 years in jail for the priest for the moral and psychological damages against the young man and his family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The case is heard by the First Collegiate Penal Court of La Vega. The judges are Lucrecia Rodr\u00edguez Ram\u00edrez, Luz Enilda Herrera and Juana Patricia Silverio.
