His award is for capturing the joy in the face of gold medal winner Robert Pigozzi after achieving a record of three buoys at 10.25 meters in the Pan American Slalom water skiing competition on 28 July 2019 in Lima, Peru. Pigozzi won the Dominican Republic&#8217;s first Pan American gold medal ever in water skiing. Jimenez used a Nikon to capture Pigozzi&#8217;s victory smile and raised arms in the victory celebration, framed by the water jumping around him when the athlete celebrated his stellar performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jimenez is a pro.
