Pereyra is a veteran journalist and novelist. The award ceremony took place in the Ambassadors Hall of the Presidential Palace. The award recognized the writer&#8217;s 30-year track record and her strict adherence to ethical principles. She received an RD$1 million cash prize. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Education and the Dominican Journalists Guild organize the National Journalism Award.
