He is accused, along with a 16-year old boy, of the death of four-year old Yanesy Rodr\u00edguez in Santiago. The child was raped and beaten to death. The defense lawyers say they have evidence to prove the case. Prosecutors say the clothes the child wore on the day of her disappearance were found in Fern\u00e1ndez&#8217;s home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a separate development on the case, the National Children\u2019s Council (Conani) was given custody for the 9 and 6-year old sisters of the murdered child. The children lived with their mother, Yannery Altagracia Rodr\u00edguez.
