She is a two-term Vice President under the Medina administration. On several occasions, she has aspired to be the presidential candidate for the ruling Dominican Liberation Party (PLD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As reported she was in Guerra to express her support for the municipal candidate, Deny Reyes. But the media focused on the Vice President herself. Usually seen in formal attire at the Presidential Palace, this time around the Vice President was in jeans, attired with a purple shirt with her own name \u201cMargarita\u201d and distributing propaganda for her own cause. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cede\u00f1o, who is the wife of former President Leonel Fern\u00e1ndez, served three terms as First Lady. During the campaign to choose the presidential candidate for the ruling Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) she endorsed the campaign of her husband, Leonel Fern\u00e1ndez.
