The Vice President of the country, Jacinto Peynado, said on Sunday, 30 March that he will win the election with the participation of President Balaguer in his electoral campaign. The presidential candidate for the PRSC said last week, “The elections are won in 24 hours, from the moment polling begins until it ends. As of now we will see who is who,” he told El Nacional newspaper. President Balaguer, Vice President Peynado and his vice presidential candidate Maribel Gass\u00f3 participated last weekend in several political rallies in Santiago. The Reformista candidates, accompanied by President Balaguer, traveled through several of the Santiago neighborhoods in motor processions, followed by thousands of Reformistas. Dr Balaguer said in Santiago that he has always supported the presidential candidature of Jacinto Peynado and that his presence at the political events is a sample of his participation in the campaign. Mr Peynado said: “The enjoining of Dr Balaguer in the campaign means the definitive unification of the PRSC and the immediate attraction of thousands of voters to the PRSCA candidature.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
