The poll was carried out between 16 March and 3 April. Leonel Fern\u00e1ndez of the PLD is in second place with 34%, and Jacinto Peynado of the PRSC is in a distant third with 17%. The firm, represented in the country by Gerardo D\u00edaz Fern\u00e1n, surveyed 4,124 people throughout the country.
