It turned out to belong to Peter Morales Troncoso, brother of the Minister for Foreign Relations, Carlos Morales Troncoso, (who opposed Jacinto Peynado in the PRSC presidential nomination). He requested the return of his plate and said he had given the instructions to his men because at that particular corner, traffic was being impeded by the proliferation of the posters. He said he was relieved that the campaign was coming to an end and that it was perhaps the “dirtiest in regard to the daubing of paint and placement of posters that have placed the security of pedestrians and the passage of vehicles in peril.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
The president of the Patronato Faro a Col\u00f3n, a former Director of Tourism, says he will continue with his crusade for the cleanliness of the city. “While the irresponsibility of the present municipal authorities is maintained, not only in solving the problem of refuse but also to confront the hanging of plastic bunting, posters and all sorts of unsightly publicity. Unfortunately, as the present mayor is not from Santo Domingo, probably he could not care less about the cleanliness and looks of the city.” He suggested that after 16 May or 30 June, the parties join efforts to remove all the publicity trash that the parties have indiscriminately placed all over the city that Milagros Bosch represents in Congress.
