The 72-works will be on show to the public until 17 July, and then transferred to the Casa de America in Madrid. A chronological presentation has been adopted, starting with Mr. Colson&#8217;s time in Barcelona in the early 1920&#8217;s and ending with his last known painting in 1972, two years before his death. Jaime Colson&#8217;s work ranges from cubism to surrealism, having produced both in Europe and in the Dominican Republic.
