The thrice presidential candidate of the Partido Revolucionario Dominicano (PRD) left New York 15 days after undergoing the surgery at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Pe\u00f1a Gomez is reported to have taken several long walks around the city and to be regaining his appetite.
