Last week, the Listin Diario published a list of well-known people who have visited Casa de Campo in La Romana recently. They include Memo Gracida, considered the best polo player in the world; Spanish crooner, Julio Iglesias; Mexican actress, Luc\u00eda M\u00e9ndez; Dominican designer, Oscar de la Renta; George Hamilton; golf course architect, Pete Dye, Henry Kissinger (who is writing his memoirs in Casa de Campo), Gabriel Garc\u00eda Marquez, and the former President of Colombia Julio C\u00e9sar Turbay Ayala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
Many of these people were in Casa de Campo last week to take part in an auction organized by Fundaci\u00f3n Mir, for the children of La Romana.
