The company&#8217;s principal executive was Marina Ginebra de Bonnelly. Aerotours closed its operations at the Las Americas International Airport, canceling regular flights to Curacao. A report in Hoy by Santiago G\u00f3mez said that Aerotours Dominicana owed US$3 million to the lessor of the jet airliner it employed to fly its routes and, as a consequence, the airplane was detained in Curacao.
