Duarte. The fresh produce market had been in operation since 1973. Thousands of persons congregated there daily, making it a significant focus of infection of the Covid-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mayor David Collado said the shutdown is part of the World Health Organization protocols the country is following to reduce the spread of the new coronavirus in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the market would be closed for at least a week and intense sanitization efforts will be carried out.
