In the past month, the country has stepped up the number of diagnostic tests. The average of PCR diagnostic tests for the past 14 days is now 1,943. The numbers of diagnostic tests carried out over the past 14 days are: 1,647 (Bulletin #76), 1,194 (Bulletin #75), 1,797 (Bulletin #74), 2,275 (Bulletin # 73) 2,242 (Bulletin #72), 3,809 (Bulletin #71), 2,149 (Bulletin #70), 1,364 (Bulletin #69), 1,668 (Bulletin #68), 2,585 (Bulletin #67), 4,025 (Bulletin #66), 1,354 (Bulletin #65), 1,619 (Bulletin #64), 2,882 (Bulletin #63), 2,819 (Bulletin #62).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statistical reports do not include rapid response blood antibody tests or patients diagnosed with tomography or other means. The Dominican Republic has a population of more than 10 million people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of Tuesday, 2 June 2020 at 6pm, the most confirmed cases continue to be reported in urban areas. Greater Santo Domingo (the National District and Santo Domingo province) has 53% of cases, or 9,420 confirmed cases of the 18,040 total confirmed cases. Santiago, San Cristobal, La Vega, Duarte (San Francisco de Macor\u00eds), Espaillat, La Romana, La Altagracia (Higuey, Ver\u00f3n, Punta Cana), Puerto Plata, Monse\u00f1or Nouel (Bonao), Azua, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez (Cotu\u00ed) and Hermanas Mirabal (Salcedo) are provinces that have 200 or more cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most new cases reported for the 2 June deadline are: Santo Domingo Province (62), National District (70), Santiago (13), La Altagracia (11), La Romana (10), San Crist\u00f3bal (13), La Vega (5), Azua (4), Puerto Plata (3), La Vega (5), Barahona (4), Duarte (3), Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez (3) and Valverde (3), San Juan de la Maguana (2), San Pedro de Macoris (2).
