Of these, 117 patients are in intensive care units. The results are from 100,035 PCR diagnostic tests. In the past month, the country has stepped up the number of diagnostic tests. The growth in number of cases has been consistent, yet slow as revealed by the limited PCR tests carried out. The average per day of PCR diagnostic tests for the past 14 days is now 2,039. The numbers of diagnostic tests carried out over the past 14 days [the difference between the PCR tests reported in the past bulletin] are: 1,935 (Bulletin #83), 1,060 (Bulletin #82), 2,529 (Bulletin #81), 2,351 (Bulletin #80), 2,079 (Bulletin #79), 2,085 (Bulletin #78), 1,771 (Bulletin #77), 1,647 (Bulletin #76), 1,194 (Bulletin #75), 1,797 (Bulletin #74), 2,275 (Bulletin # 73) 2,242 (Bulletin #72), 3,809 (Bulletin #71), 2,149 (Bulletin #70), 1,364 (Bulletin #69).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statistical reports do not include rapid response blood antibody tests or patients diagnosed with tomography or other means. The Dominican Republic has a population of more than 10 million people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of Tuesday, 9 June 2020 at 6pm, the most confirmed cases continue to be reported in urban areas. Greater Santo Domingo (Santo Domingo province and the National District) has 52.7% of the 20,808 total confirmed cases. Santiago, San Cristobal, La Vega, Duarte (San Francisco de Macor\u00eds), Espaillat, La Romana, La Altagracia (Higuey, Ver\u00f3n, Punta Cana), Puerto Plata, Azua, Monse\u00f1or Nouel (Bonao), Barahona, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez (Cotu\u00ed) and Hermanas Mirabal (Salcedo) are provinces that have 200 or more cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most new cases reported for the 9 June deadline are: Santo Domingo Province (179), National District (94), Santiago (17), San Crist\u00f3bal (12), La Altagracia (14), Duarte (8), San Juan de la Maguana (6), Monte Plata (4), San Pedro de Macoris (3), Peravia (3), La Vega (2), La Romana (2), Azua (4), El Seibo (3), La Vega (2) and El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a (2).
