The tally of deaths is 592, including 15 new deaths, 12 of these in Greater Santo Domingo. 2,735 patients are hospitalized. Of these, 134 patients are in intensive care units. The number of coronavirus-related deaths has increased to average 6.7 over the past 14 days, reflecting the reopening of the economy. The numbers of diagnostic tests carried out over the past 14 days [the difference between the PCR tests reported in the past bulletin] are: 1,847 (Bulletin #87), 2,159 (Bulletin #86), 2,516 (Bulletin #85), 2,465 (Bulletin #84), 1,935 (Bulletin #83), 1,060 (Bulletin #82), 2,529 (Bulletin #81), 2,351 (Bulletin #80), 2,079 (Bulletin #79), 2,085 (Bulletin #78), 1,771 (Bulletin #77), 1,647 (Bulletin #76), 1,194 (Bulletin #75), 1,797 (Bulletin #74).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statistical reports do not include rapid response blood antibody tests or patients diagnosed with tomography or other means. The Dominican Republic has a population of more than 10 million people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of Saturday, 13 June 2020 at 4pm, the most confirmed cases continue to be reported in urban areas. Greater Santo Domingo (Santo Domingo province and the National District) has 53.5% of the 22,962 total confirmed cases. Santiago, San Cristobal, La Vega, Duarte (San Francisco de Macor\u00eds), Espaillat, La Romana, La Altagracia (Higuey, Ver\u00f3n, Punta Cana), Puerto Plata, Azua, Monse\u00f1or Nouel (Bonao), Barahona, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez (Cotu\u00ed) and Hermanas Mirabal (Salcedo) are provinces that have 200 or more cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most new cases or recently allocated cases are reported for the 13 June deadline are: Santo Domingo Province (169), National District (135), Santiago (20), San Crist\u00f3bal (15), Barahona (13), La Romana (12), La Altagracia (6), San Pedro de Macor\u00eds (6), Azua (4), La Vega (2), Valverde (2), Monse\u00f1or Nouel (2) and La Vega (2).
