The news of his acceptance of the responsibility as a lobbyist in Washington, D. C. for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) presidential candidate was known last week in the Dominican Republic after the media carried a story that originally appeared in the Foreign Lobby magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortu\u00f1o is a partner of the firm Steptoe &amp; Johnson. As reported in Diario Libre, Steptoe &amp; Johnson, of which Fortu\u00f1o is a partner, sent a document to the US Department of Justice to inform them that Fortu\u00f1o would no longer represent Castillo.
