The tally of deaths is 635, including 2 new registered deaths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of Bulletin #91, 2,743 patients are hospitalized up from 2,687 patients the previous day. Of these, 162 patients are in intensive care units, up from 137 the previous day. The number of coronavirus-related deaths is on average 8.5 over the past 14 days. The numbers of diagnostic tests carried out over the past 14 days [the difference between the PCR tests reported in the past bulletin] are: 2,584 (Bulletin #91), 1,932 (Bulletin (#90), 1,822 (Bulletin #89), 1,759 (Bulletin #88), 1,847 (Bulletin #87), 2,159 (Bulletin #86), 2,516 (Bulletin #85), 2,465 (Bulletin #84), 1,935 (Bulletin #83), 1,060 (Bulletin #82), 2,529 (Bulletin #81), 2,351 (Bulletin #80), 2,079 (Bulletin #79), 2,085 (Bulletin #78), 1,771 (Bulletin #77).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statistical reports do not include rapid response blood antibody tests or patients diagnosed with tomography or other means. The Dominican Republic has a population of more than 10 million people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of Wedneday, 17 June 2020 at 4pm, the most confirmed cases continue to be reported in urban areas. Greater Santo Domingo (Santo Domingo province and the National District) has 54% of the 24,645 total confirmed cases. Santiago, San Cristobal, La Vega, Duarte (San Francisco de Macor\u00eds), Espaillat, La Romana, La Altagracia (Higuey, Ver\u00f3n, Punta Cana), Puerto Plata, Azua, Monse\u00f1or Nouel (Bonao), Barahona, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez (Cotu\u00ed) and Hermanas Mirabal (Salcedo) are provinces that have 200 or more cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most new cases or recently allocated cases are reported for the 16 June deadline are: Santo Domingo province (244), National District (161), San Crist\u00f3bal (23), San Juan de la Maguana (23), La Romana (16), La Vega (15), Santiago (11), La Altagracia (9), Azua (8), Peravia (7), San Pedro de Macoris (6), Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez (5), Montecristi (3), Duarte (3), Dajab\u00f3n (2) and Monse\u00f1or Nouel (2). .
