Recently, a local hospital carried out 100 tests and 90 came back positive. Public Health Minister Rafael S\u00e1nchez C\u00e1rdenas said in his press briefing on Tuesday, 4 August that the Ministry would make an intervention in the province. \u201cWith these new tests we will know the magnitude of the existing outbreak in Nagua,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the weekend, health authorities carried out 100 PCR tests, 45 of which were administered to health personnel at the Hospital Doctor Antonio Yaport Heded, with 42 positive results. The rest were administered to Nagua residents.
