Dr. Ligia Leroux de Ram\u00edrez, president of the Dominican Red Cross, confirmed on Wednesday that a large number of ambulances used by the National System of Emergency Attention and Security 911 are rented to the Red Cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said when the 911 system was set up in 2014, the first agreements were signed with the Ministry of Public Health to rent the ambulances for US$8,000 per month.
