Aguilas outfielder Luis Polonia became part of a special group yesterday as he got his 800th hit in the Dominican Winter League. Polonia, who has been in the league since the 1984-85 season, joined Miguel Dilone, Jesus Rojas Alou, Rafael Batista and Manny Mota as the only other Dominicans to have more than 800 hits since the league’s inception in 1951.<\/p>\n
