The indictment also includes 43 other individuals linked to the criminal network. Peralta had been on the run since August 2019. He was arrested in December 2019 in Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National District Attorney&#8217;s Office and the Specialized Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing division of the General Attorney&#8217;s Office filed the accusation on Tuesday, 8 December 2020 against those involved in the C\u00e9sar Emilio Peralta drug trafficking network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The document, signed by the National District Attorney Rosalba Ramos and the head of the Specialized Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Attorney Luis Gonzalez, indicates that the network mobilized approximately RD$3.5 billion in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the file deposited by the coordinator judge of the Instruction Courts of the National District, among the new persons accused in the case are Melchor Antonio Alcantara Damir\u00f3n, construction entrepreneur; Genri Daniel Santana Bad\u00eda, Jhonan Alexander Ure\u00f1a Mart\u00ednez, Biancis Evangeline Castellanos Miranda, Reynaldo Alberto Canela and Ram\u00f3n Reinaldo Guerra Molina, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The spouse of &#8220;C\u00e9sar El Abusador&#8221;, Marisol Franco; Jos\u00e9 Bernab\u00e9 Quiterio (El Ni\u00f1o), Manuel S\u00e1nchez P\u00e9rez (Pupilo), Johanny Paniagua, Yadher Rafael V\u00e1squez Araujo (Jake Mate) and Edward Patricio Montero Cabral (El Zapatazo) had been charged in the first phase of the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also accused are Alan Gilberto Bueno Alc\u00e9quiez (Alan D\u00f3lar), Rafael Reyes, Rodolfo Cede\u00f1o Ure\u00f1a (El Comandante), Heriberto de la Cruz P\u00e9rez (Erick Aqua), Lidio Pe\u00f1a Mota, Jeifry del Rosario Gautier, Jos\u00e9 Tapia P\u00e9rez (Bola Negra), Baltazar Mesa (El Maestro) and Sergio G\u00f3mez D\u00edaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read more:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/eldia.com.do\/fiscalia-somete-querella-contra-el-abusador\/\">El Dia <\/a><br><a href=\"https:\/\/do.usembassy.gov\/treasury-designates-dominican-republic-based-peralta-drug-trafficking-organization-under-the-kingpin-act\/\">US Embassy <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9 December 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Justice Department presented charges against drug kingpin Cesar Emilio Peralta (The Abuser).
