For Jim\u00e9nez Ram\u00edrez, it is a promotion. She was the deputy minister of Youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jimenez replaces Kinsberly (Kimberly) Taveras, who resigned on Monday, 7 December. Taveras had been on leave of absence after state prosecutors began an investigation into the source of the assets she declared for her worth statement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abinader administration communications director, Milagros Germ\u00e1n said the new minister has been an outstanding municipal leader, demonstrating human and political sensibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Listin Diario reports that the new minister was born in Santo Domingo. She is the daughter of Jose Ram\u00f3n Jim\u00e9nez, who is a city councilor for Santo Domingo East. She has studied finance and marketing and has worked with the family business.
