The building site faces the Centro M\u00e9dico Gazcue on Av. Leopoldo Navarro near Av. Bolivar. The ground collapse occurred at around 4am. A Honda Civic and a Honda Fit sunk with the collapsed ground. The vehicles were parked outside the affected area. As reported in El Nacional, one construction engineer attributed the landslide to the breakage of a six-inch CAASD water line.
