The Dominican football team will compete to qualify for a slot in the Japan Olympic Games during the 15th edition of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dominican team roster is:
Goalkeepers: Johan Snick Guzman de los Santos and Alessandro Baroni, Daniel Campana
Defenders: Joao Urbaez, Jose de la Cruz, Brian Lopez, Alejandro Jimenez, Edarlyn Reyes, Lean Torres, Sebastian Ma\u00f1\u00f3n
Midfielders: Fabian Messina, Gerard Lavergne, Edison Azcona, Kelvin Martinez
Forwards: Erick Paniagua, Nowend Lorenzo, Dorney Romero, Juan Pineda and Rafael Mata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The matches will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico from 18 to 30 March. The group stage play will take place at the Jalisco and Akron Stadiums, between 18-25 March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After round-robin play, the first and second place finishers in each group will advance to the semifinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both semifinal matches will be played on 28 March, at the Jalisco Stadium. The semifinal winners will qualify for the final of this competition and also earn a spot to represent their country at the Men\u2019s Olympic Football Tournament at the Tokyo Summer Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final is scheduled for Tuesday, 30 March at the Akron Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico that hosted the 2011 Pan American Games football tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
