He was elected on 29 April 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The executive committee of the American Chamber of Commerce is now: Roberto Herrera, InterEnergy Group; Roberto Perez, Hanes Caribe Inc; Edwin de los Santos, AES Dominicana, vice presidents. Also Francesca Rainieri, Grupo Puntacana, treasurer; Mar\u00eda Waleska Alvarez, Nap del Caribe, secretary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other members are: Juana Barcel\u00f3, Barrick Pueblo Viejo; Juan Roberto Amell, Bepensa; Juan O. Vel\u00e1squez, Central Romana Corporation; Carlos Jose Mart\u00ed, Grupo Mart\u00ed, and Fernando Villanueva, Viamar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>William Malamud is confirmed as executive vice president.
