Dennis Urbano said his client will accept preventive detention with review of the coercive measure and requested a jury trial in the hearing on Friday, 21 May 2021 in Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the official indictment against him, from 2014 to 2017, Gutierrez Diaz was part of a transnational drug trafficking network that operated in the Dominican Republic, Colombia and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the official document from the US Attorney&#8217;s Office for the Southern District of Florida, which is in charge of the case, the deputy&#8217;s brother, Miguel Emilio Guti\u00e9rrez D\u00edaz, alias El Alem\u00e1n and the Dominican brothers Endy de Jes\u00fas N\u00fa\u00f1ez M\u00e1rmol, alias El Fuerte and Danny N\u00fa\u00f1ez M\u00e1rmol, are also linked and charged with the same charges.
