Dr. Mario Lama, director of the SNS, said the beds were fitted at the brand-new maternal building at the Ciudad Sanitaria Luis Eduardo Aybar and will attend to Covid-19 patients in the capital city. Greater Santo Domingo is suffering an outbreak in Covid-19 cases, attributed to people&#8217;s high mobility and relaxing preventive measures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the 150 Covid-19 beds, 104 are for intermediate hospitalizations and the rest in intensive care units.
