The public prosecutor\u2019s office was ordered to serve three months of preventive imprisonment in a Santiago jail as he awaits his trial. Hern\u00e1ndez Almonte is accused of having given a false warning of a bomb at the Cibao International Airport on 28 May 2021, allegedly to prevent his girlfriend from boarding a plane at the terminal. The call caused a delay in flight operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prosecutors said that when making the call, Hern\u00e1ndez Almonte assured that a woman was about to board a plane bound for New York City, United States, with an explosive device in her luggage.
