The Dominican Republic defeated the Netherlands in the Nations League volleyball tournament. The match ended 3-1 in favor of the \u201cQueens of the Caribbean.\u201d The Dominican volleyball team scored 23-25, 25-,28-30 and 22-25, only losing game three to the strong Netherlands team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dominican Republic\u2019s women\u2019s volleyball team is seventh in the standings of the Nations League tournament. The event is serving as a warm-up for the July 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Team Dominican Republic is one of the 12 women\u2019s volleyball teams that will be competing in the Olympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far, the DR has won seven games and lost five in the 16-team Nations League tournament. The top seven teams are: USA, Brazil, Japan, Turkey, Netherlands, Russia and the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
