The winning team gets a slot in the Tokyo Olympics 12-team basketball tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dominican team members are Brandon Francis, Sadiel Rojas, Gelvis Solano, Rigoberto Mendoza, Adonys Henr\u00edquez, \u00c1ngel N\u00fa\u00f1ez, V\u00edctor Liz, Jonathan Ara\u00fajo, Andr\u00e9s F\u00e9liz, Luis Santos and Mike Torres and Eloy Vargas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coaching staff that accompanies Coach Lopez is Jos\u00e9 (Ma\u00edta) Mercedes, David D\u00edaz and Luis Guzm\u00e1n, and physical trainers Eliezer Dubin and Marvin Zamora. Dr. William Grano de Oro will be the biosecurity doctor and Junior P\u00e1ez, the delegate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team flew out of Punta Cana International Airport to Serbia via Germany after spending several intense days of training at the Palacio de los Deportes Profesor Virgilio Travieso Soto in Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dominican team plays the Philippines and Serbia in Group A group in the Olympic playoffs.
