The bill now moves on to the Senate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputy Jos\u00e9 Horacio Rodr\u00edguez (Alianza Pa\u00eds \u2013 National District) was a dissenting vote. He opposed the conditions granted to Apache Corporation for the oil exploitation in Dominican coastal waters, and expressed concerns about the environmental impact. He stated that &#8220;Apache Corporation has a questionable operating history.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contract was signed on 22 October 2020 by Energy &amp; Mines Minister Antonio Almonte Reynoso and Timothy R.
