He opposed the conditions granted to Apache Corporation for the oil exploitation in Dominican coastal waters and expressed concerns about the environmental impact. He stated that \u201cApache Corporation has a questionable operating history.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contract was signed on 22 October 2020 by Energy &amp; Mines Minister Antonio Almonte Reynoso and Timothy R.
