Blackouts in recent years have been rare, but this past week they have returned with a vengeance. Ten, 12-hour blackouts have prevailed for the past 48 hours, making even the most mundane chores seem impossible. The electricity distribution company, EdeNorte, has issued tweets saying that all these interruptions are because of \u201cinterconnections\u201d with circuits in the area of Bonao.
